You will have to scout for good locations (if you are not going for home-based business), arrange stocks from manufacturers and suppliers and meet prospective lenders. You are also required to advertise the business, hire employees, keep the accounts and improve your business! To avoid all these, people tend to buy a franchise, as the franchisor helps in many of these activities. Still, you will have to work hard, so make sure you can afford the time and energy for it.
